Haha me and you used to hate each other over this stuff, but hey, we can still be pretty fired up.

Cavs and Celtics about to start on TNT, Lebron accepting his MVP, then after it's the Suns and Spurs at 10:30.

Utah and Boston should really be kicking them self, they could easily be up 1-0 in these series.

It's the Lakers who should be kicking themselves for their bench letting them down. If the bench just holds their own,the Lakers win the series with ease, but they are going to have to elevate their game. Looking forward to SUNS-SPURS. PHX scored over 100, they won. Its a bigger game for PHX than SA, it gives them confidence. Nash was just awesome, he didnt miss. PHX was able to make so many **** shots, they shot a crazy %.

But there were some signs of life from SA, for one it was not a blowout, when at times it could have been. It was eerily similar to Game 1 against Dallas. The good signs were that PHX didnt hit 10+ 3 pointers, SA did a good job against them.

God forgive me for this, but I'm rooting for the Celtics. Just so sick and tired of hearing ESPN's push: LeBron this, LeBron that.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

It was a huge win, PHX had lost those previous game 1's, so hopefully this is a good sign that this series will be different...hopefully. Nash made Hill look like the old guy, he was really on his game, I don't think he's going to put up 30+ every night in this series...but he's going to play very, very well IMO...think he's just fed up with all the talk about his history with losing to SA, hopefully anyway. And Biggin, you have to say that this PHX is a lot better defensively than years past, not a great D, but they can make some much needed stops now...hopefully Lopez will be back by game 3, I don't think they should try playing him tomorrow.

Game 2 is pretty huge, PHX NEEDS to win tomorrow, interesting to see how the Spurs respond.

the PHX defense was very good, but it has been better all year. It was not great, but they dont hang their hat on defense. Hill was terrible last night, but he will not be that bad again, I think it was jitters, he looked terrible in Game 1 against Dallas as well.

Being honest, SA will let Amare or Nash score, its the other guys (RICHARDSON, who was great and the reason PHX won IMO) they are going to key on to stop. Thats how its always been against PHX, they let Amare get his, just shut down everyone else. Like the last series with Dallas, Dirk was gonna get his regardless, just make sure the supporting cast doesnt beat them, and if SA can stop J-Rich, they can win.

Game 2 is huge, the winner of it wins the series IMO.
If SA steals home court, they can finish PHX at home in 6
If PHX holds serve, game 7 in PHX will be almost impossible to win at.

I was thinking the same thing last night. Although the one good thing for SA being an older team is that if it goes 7, they will have a 3 day rest.

That's what I've been saying! lol Gentry has done a **** good job improving that D, I'm pretty proud of it, this is a different team.

I think that's a legit argument with Amare, but I think they just didn't have an answer for Nash, he's not a big scorer - though I wish he would be more aggressive like last night, the guy shoots an incredibly good percentage from anywhere on the floor. Richardson definitely is the key, I think PHX is 31-4 when he scores at least 20, he's got hot at the right time...he did it against Portland, hopefully will carry over. Bench play period will be a big factor, if that second group can weather the storm, that will be huge for PHX.

And I can agree with that, it definitely will tell a lot about how this series is going to play out. Ah, we'll see who shows up.

Atlanta and Orlando start off their series at 8, then it's LAL/Utah after. Curious to see how well the Hawks do against the Magic.

Nash does shoot the ball well when he takes his shot, but his form looks like some lady player in the area with the leg out front and such.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

Hey, whatever works, esp. when the guy shoots 90+% from the line, 50+% from the field and 40+% from 3pt range...that's ridiculous numbers for an entire season and he's done it for 5 straight seasons I believe, can't remember but either way, it's a record no one else has done before.
